Kicking off Fall '09 Fashion Weeks

So New York Fashion Week doesn't start until Feb. 13ish (if everyone hasn't canceled by then), but for some reason Vera Wang Lavender Label already had their Fall 2009 presentation, and since I'm holed up sick today, I had to go through all of. :) Here are my top four looks:

So I'm not a big fan of the red tights, but how freaking cute are all those motorcycle boots? I die. These two coats are fab. I'm seriously loving the pinstriped, semi-trench on the left. I can't even get over how perfect it is. The shape is perfect.


I love these two dresses! They both use sequins in a really tasteful way (see Maud? I can like sequins!) The dress on the left continues the sheer trend from the Spring/Summer '09 runways, but I think I like it even better in dark fabrics. Definitely sexier. And I can't even deal with the dress on the right. I wants it. The sequins look like studs (and we all know I love studs), I love the graduated pattern, and the proportions are perfect. And since it's the Lavender Label, it's actually kind of affordable. I feel better already.
