More Jeans!

I'm on a serious jeans kick here. I need another pair, and so of course all I can think about is jeans, jeans, and more jeans. Any ways, I picked out a few pairs that are pretty much universally flattering, classical styles. They're all from J Brand because I've honestly tried every brand on the market, and these are the best. No big pocket logos, no stretching out, no weird details/fading, just perfection.

J Brand 9" Mid Rise 18" Boot Cut Jean $159 at shopbop.com, J Brand Lightweight Lovestory Jean, $179 at shopbop.com. Mid Rise? Check. Dark wash? Check. If you prefer your jeans on the skinny side, try the boot cut version on the left. It's a very subtle boot cut, so the leg is still slim, but there's enough volume at the bottom to balance out the thigh. For a slightly more retro/on-trend look, the Lovestory flares are perfect. I want these. They're just a little 70's, but the dark wash keeps it modern, and the slim fit through the knee combined with the flare leg is super, super flattering. Plus the thick waistband checks everything in place and Kate Moss owns a couple pairs. Enough said.


J Brand Blue Label Curvy Fit Scarlett Boot Cut Jean, $159 at shopbop.com, J Brand Mid Rise 16" Straight Leg Jean, $159 at shopbop.com. I love that J Brand does curvy fit jeans. The waistband is a little thicker and higher, and the fit in the thigh is a little more generous--totally brilliant, right? And for the girls who just can't get over the skinny jeans thing, I seriously recommend the straight leg. Try it and you will never look at a skinny jean again.
