Another under the Radar Site

I love finding tiny, unheard of sites full of hidden treasures. You can usually walk away with a decently price piece that you won't see anyone else on the street wearing (always a plus). The latest one of those sites I've added to my list is Plumo.com, yet another adorable British website.

Hippy Sun dress, 89 euros at plumo.com, Antik Batik Margeaux dress, 249 euros at plumo.com, Tilda dress in white, 69 euros at plumo.com: That Hippy dress is just that--a hippy dress. But a very chic hippy dress. The washed out purple has a vintage feel, and the tiered skirt is just a little bit country, but edged out with the appropriate accessories this would be anything but kitsch. I love, love, love the vest-like detailing on that Antik Batik dress. It's like two pieces in one! And the last dress is so romantic poet with the pleated bib detailing and ruffled sleeves. Toss on that dress and some rosey blush, wander dreamily through some English countryside, and Mr. Darcy (or some other appropriate English gentleman) will appear. I'm 99.99% sure.


Tangier bracelets, 16 euros each at plumo.com, Aphrodite bracelets, 59 euros for a set of six at plumo.com, Horseshoe ring, 149 euros at plumo.com: Of course, there's no shortage of precious jewelry at Plumo. These textured silver bangles have a very Moroccan feel. You can pretend you actually got them in Morocco! My favorites are these hammered golden and jeweled bangles. They have a very organic, but still luxe, feel, and are pretty well-priced for six bangles! As a horseback rider, I have a soft spot for that horseshoe ring, and besides, anyone can use a little extra good luck, right?
