Nail polish porn for the next few days is limited to this post, I promise.
This is how well my new Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat wore after FIVE days. Five! It's still shiny, there were no chips or smudges or any fading, and there was only minimal tip wear. I couldn't even really justify re-doing my nails, but I did. This stuff wears even better than my Seche Vite top coat, and it's a couple dollars cheaper. That's a winner. Also, Essie's Splash of Grenadine is just as cute on toes as it is on fingers! This is my unexpected new favorite polish.
I had to do my nails in Essie's Midnight Cami, just to see it on the nail so I could compare it to OPI's Russian Navy. As happens to me with all my dark polishes, a lot of the shimmer is lost between the bottle and the nail. This can look black inside with bad lighting. It's definitely much more vibrant than Russian Navy, and has much more shimmer.
This picture sucks, but it shows some of the shimmer. I did this after the sun set, so I don't know how it looks in sunlight, but I'm hoping it's as shimmertastic as I want it to be! Note Gilmore Girls playing in the background.
I went and bought the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat after your last post about it. It is amazing! I've been shopping around for a better top coat and this is it. My nails are also unchipped and shiny a week later. Very impressed. I am def gonna buy this again.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you like it! Isn't it awesome? I love it when drugstore brands blow everything else out of the water :)
