I finally cleaned up my area enough to actually take some pictures! Yayyyy. It may seem random, but it is mildly fashion related. There are magazine rip outs on the wall. See, fashion. So this year I'm living in a triple, and this is my bed area.
Clearly I am a fan of the collage of fashion campaigns. Also Audrey Hepburn posters. The bed spread is from Ikea, and the sparkly pink banner near the ceiling says "Keep Calm and Party On." Hehe. The pink poster says "Keep Calm and Shop On." I see a theme here.
I adore that chandelier decal that I got at Target. It was like $12, and came with rhinestone stickers to put on the chandelier like crystals! So cute. Next to it are my sorority letters (AOII). I really love the polka dot pillow. It's Jonathan Adler, and the funny part is that I got it a few years ago just because I thought it was cute, which is why I brought it to school. Of course, brown and baby blue are my school colors, and all my friends thought I was super school spirity. I pretended that I planned it. Everybody wins. On the right is our futon/window nook area. The futon is from Sears, and the rug is from PB Teen. We like colorful things. The hanging lantern is 100% illegal in our dorm, but just too cute to pass up. The things on the walls are sarongs and saris for pops of color.
Look at the flower shaped side tables! They're children's furniture. Literally, meant for children. The futon is across from my desk, which has been repurposed as a TV stand (yay, priorities), and the wall decal is from Ikea.
So that's my room, y'all. Stay tuned for some NYFW coverage.
